Earlier this year we announced our plans to expand the Hope Center to meet the growing needs of our ministry in Kibagare. You can review the details regarding this campus expansion here.
We are excited to report that, as of November 1, 2025, a total of $29,200 has been pledged towards our campaign goal of $160,000, and of the amount pledged, we have already received $18,600. The total campaign includes building a large, multi-purpose event hall. We have already poured the concrete foundation and floor for the event hall. However, we are applying the next $100,000 received towards the construction of ten classrooms that are desperately needed for our growing preschool. We started our preschool in 2023 with a class of 15 students, and grew to 72 students this year. Next year we need to increase the preschool enrollment to 100 students to meet the early childhood education needs of the kids in Kibagare.
Would you prayerfully consider joining us in this endeavor this Thanksgiving? No gift or pledge is too small. Any donor(s) who donates at least $500 will have their name(s) included on the recognition plaque that will be placed in the event hall once it is constructed. The figure of $100,000 to raise for a single giving day seems daunting! But we have been witnesses to the blessing and leadership of God in the growth of GBHT’s ministry, and we have faith that this can happen! We hope you will join us in this endeavor.
