About GBHT
Giving Back Hope Together, Inc. is a U.S. nonprofit corporation recognized as tax‑exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to serve vulnerable children and at‑risk families, including in Kenya, through programs such as feeding, education, child sponsorship, and faith‑based community support.

Eligibility & Using the Site
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you make a donation, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
Accounts & Donor Dashboard
Some features (for example, donation history or managing recurring gifts) may require you to create an account (a "Donor Dashboard"). You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and restricting access to your device(s).
- All activities that occur under your account.
We may, at our sole discretion, suspend, disable, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear to present a security or misuse risk.
Donations, Sponsorships & Receipts
- Ways to Give. The Site may enable one‑time or recurring donations, sponsorship payments, and designated gifts (e.g., to a project or campaign).
- Tax‑Deductibility. GBHT is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. In general, donations to GBHT are tax‑deductible to the extent permitted by law in your jurisdiction. GBHT will issue a receipt via email or through the Donor Dashboard. Consult your tax advisor to confirm how the rules apply to you.
- Recurring Donations. If you enroll in recurring giving, you authorize GBHT (and/or our third‑party payment processor) to automatically charge your selected payment method on the schedule you select until you cancel. You may cancel future charges at any time through the Donor Dashboard (if available) or by contacting us. Please allow a reasonable time to process changes.
- Designated Gifts. GBHT will make every effort to honor donor preferences. If a program is fully funded, becomes impracticable, or circumstances change, GBHT may reallocate funds to the area of greatest need while staying consistent with our charitable mission.
- Use of Funds. Unless otherwise noted, donations support GBHT’s charitable purposes, including program operations, administration, and compliance. Program descriptions on the Site are illustrative and do not create restricted trusts or special obligations beyond applicable law and these Terms.
- Refunds. Donations are generally final and non‑refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us promptly; GBHT will review good‑faith requests on a case‑by‑case basis in its sole discretion.
- International Donations. Donations are typically processed in U.S. Dollars. Donors outside the U.S. are responsible for currency conversion fees and local compliance.
Third‑Party Services & Payment Processing
We may use third‑party service providers (e.g., analytics, payment processors, email services) to operate the Site and process transactions. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. GBHT is not responsible for third‑party websites or services, and you access them at your own risk.
Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, servers, or networks (e.g., by introducing malware, scraping without permission, or attempting to bypass security).
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with GBHT.
- Use the Site to send unauthorized commercial communications, fundraise for non‑GBHT initiatives, or engage in harassing, hateful, or unlawful conduct.
- Collect or harvest information about other users without their consent.
- Upload, transmit, or otherwise make available content that infringes any intellectual property or privacy rights.
We reserve the right to monitor use of the Site and to remove or restrict access to any content or user account that violates these Terms.
Intellectual Property
The Site and all content on it—such as text, photographs, graphics, video, logos, and trademarks—are owned by GBHT or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed by law (e.g., fair use), you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Site’s content without prior written permission from GBHT.
Limited License to Share
We encourage supporters to share our mission. You may link to the Site or share our publicly available posts for non‑commercial, mission‑supporting purposes, provided you do not modify the content, remove attribution, or imply GBHT endorsement of your organization, product, or service without our written permission.
User‑Submitted Content (If Enabled)
If the Site allows you to post, upload, or submit content (e.g., comments, stories, photos), you:
- Represent that you own or have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate any rights or laws.
- Grant GBHT a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your content in connection with our charitable mission and the Site, in accordance with applicable law and our privacy practices.
- Acknowledge that we may, but are not obligated to, moderate, remove, or refuse content at our discretion.
Do not share sensitive personal information (for example, financial data or information about minors) in public areas of the Site.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GBHT and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Site will not exceed US $100.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GBHT and our directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Site; or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Changes to the Site & Terms
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Effective Date" above and may provide additional notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time and for any reason, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will end immediately.
Governing Law & Venue
These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Indiana for all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.
Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a notice including: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing content; (c) a statement that you have a good‑faith belief the use is not authorized; (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act; and (e) your physical or electronic signature. Entire Agreement & Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and GBHT regarding the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications on that subject. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of such right or provision.
